58 Mins | Showhouse II

Director: Derek Romrell

DESCRIPTION: Before families gathered around the television, they gathered around the radio. Stories weren’t seen on screen, but imagined in the theater of the mind.

Eternities is an homage to that era of communal, widespread radio listenership. It combines a feature-length story with the music of the band Northwest Stories, creating an immersive mixture of tale and tune which we call a Story Album.

This story follows Jessie and Thomas, childhood friends estranged by the suicide of their best friend Liam. They decide to meet again, before one of them plans on leaving their hometown for good.

As our lead character, Thomas, is blind, we invite a theater audience to cover their eyes with provided blindfolds and experience the Story Album of Thomas entirely from his perspective.

Q&A to follow with filmmakers and cast members.
