Zions Indie Film Fest (ZIFF) is a premier celebration of cinematic stories from independent filmmakers worldwide.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, ZIFF unites a sophisticated and diverse audience, including movie-goers, film industry leaders, critics, film students, government officials, and sponsors. The festival's selected films cover a wide range of trending topics designed to uplift, inspire, entertain, and provide much-needed laughter. In honor of the 25th anniversary of independent storytelling at Zions Indie Film Fest, we invited creators of all filmmaking levels—first-time filmmakers, seasoned pros, content creators, students, hobbyists, and everyone in between—to participate in our 2026 Commercial Contest!

I want to send out a big thank you to everyone who worked and organized the Zions Indie Film Festival. My family and I had a blast, and Michelle and Marshall made us feel right at home. The venue was wonderful, and having all the movies screened, as well as panels in one location, added to the feeling of community, camaraderie, and family.

“DO NOT MISS this festival.”
I could go on and on. We submitted to a lot of festivals and Zions Indie Film Fest was THE BEST. It was the most organized, with the best communication, the most exciting schedule and special guests, the highest level of talent and networking opportunities. Michelle and Marshall Moore treated us like family and went above and beyond for us. DO NOT MISS this festival.

“The BEST experience I have had at any film festival.”
By far and away the best film festival I have been to in years. So well run, classy and unpretentious. Marshall and Michelle make everyone feel welcome wether you are a novice or a veteran. So many useful and worthwhile workshops and panels. The BEST experience I have had at any film festival and I cannot wait til next year!

"What a wonderful festival!"
Wow! Just wow! I can honestly say I have never been more impressed with a film festival at this level. I was so impressed with the amount of networking that took place and made great connections. The experts they brought in for breakaway panels were outstanding too! It's also so refreshing to see a festival bring in such a high caliber of storytelling with the standards ZIFF has for films. I will absolutely be back.

"Magical"
What a wonderful experience it was at ZIONS. Dare I say magical? I’ve been in n the film business over 20 years and this was by far the best festival I have been to. It was organized, well run, incredible staff, kind hearted folks, inspiring films, and so many creative people surrounding that I felt lucky to be a part of. Michelle and Marshall have knocked it out of the park with ZIONS!
